I could only find the fave submit button and I tried that but it may be that you don't have the right settings for submitting

Weird. Try this one:
1) Enter the club's main page [link]
2) find "Submit art" button and click it
3) try to upload your works to the club

If this doesn't work, I can't help you in different way.

when I type the groups name Garfield-PL_EN in and check it I get this
Sorry, you do not have permission to submit artwork to this group.
so now what?

Okay, I'll try to write it as simple as possible:
1) log in to dA
2) enter your gallery
3) click on the pic you want to appear in club's gallery, for example, let this be [link]
4) find on the right side of the screen "Submit to a group" button ( scroll down ) and click it
5) you should see available groups for posting your work, select the club you want to appear
6) click "Submit" button
7) if you did as I wrote, you should see the pic in club's gallery now.
